School violence is, without a doubt, one of the most discussed and least understood of all the crises facing education in our country. Everyone agrees that mass shootings, bullying, assaults on teachers and student violence are an abomination and a stain on our most important common enterprises as a people.  Regrettably, that also seems to be where the consensus ends.
