Kades-Margolis Corporation Mini-Grant Available to an Elementary School

The Kades-Margolis Mini-Grant is awarded annually at the PA Principals Association Conference to a current and practicing elementary principal who is a member of the association. This one-time award of $1,000 may be used to enhance the member’s elementary school and the children it serves.

Criteria:  Any PA Principals Association elementary principal or assistant principal may apply for this one-time mini-grant by submitting the following:

  • The mini-grant must be written and geared to enhancing specific programs/services directly for the children in the school. For example: funding for field trips for children who cannot afford it, clothing for disadvantaged children, medical needs for children, books and supplies for children who cannot afford it, etc.

The PA Principals Association staff will determine the awardee and all decisions are final. The awardee must be available to accept the mini-grant award when it is at the Summit24 Conference, August 4-6, 2024.

Nominate an Elementary Assistant Principal for the 2024 National Outstanding Assistant Principals Program

Deadline for Nominations is closed for 2024.

The search for Pennsylvania’s National Outstanding Assistant Principal (Elementary Division) has officially begun. On behalf of the Pennsylvania Principals Association, you are invited to participate in the nomination process for this award. A nomination form must be emailed no later than Friday, October 13, 2023, to Julie Sunday at sunday@paprincipals.org

Nominating an assistant principal for this prestigious award provides you with an opportunity to recognize the exceptional leadership of the men and women who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of PreK-8, public or private schools and instill pride in their accomplishments and reinforce their leadership in helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.

Please Note: Nominees must be a member of both the PA Principals Association and the NAESP.

PA Principals Association/NAESP National Distinguished Principal (NDP) Award – 2023-2024

The search for Pennsylvania’s 2024 National Distinguished Principal (NDP) has officially begun. On behalf of the Pennsylvania Principals Association, you are invited to participate in the nomination of the 2024 NDP. Selection at the state level affords the recipient the opportunity to be selected as the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) 2022 National Distinguished Principal.

Nominating a principal for this prestigious award provides you with an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments and dedication of an outstanding elementary, middle, public or private school principal who provides exemplary leadership for students, staff, community and peers.
