Editorial: State’s response to lunch shaming is welcomed, long overdue
Legislation aimed at curbing lunch shaming is gaining ground across the country. New Mexico is the first state to institute a ban on lunch shaming, called by many a form of cruel and unusual punishment against students. Texas and California also are drafting anti-shaming legislation.
