PA Principals Association Expands Advocacy Efforts

The Pennsylvania Principals Association has secured the services of Hannah Stahle Barrick, JD, to further expand advocacy efforts for the association. Ms. Barrick currently serves in a similar role for both the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) and the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA). She will continue working with both of those organizations, but will also serve as the director of advocacy on a part-time basis for the PA Principals Association. The range of services she will provide include: organizing periodic meetings with legislators on specific issues; preparing weekly reports on the status of pertinent legislation for distribution to members and for posting on the association website; offering in-person reports to the PA Principals Association Board of Directors; and providing legislative alerts for dissemination to members.
