For over 50 years, the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils (PASC) has offered summer leadership camps for middle school and high school students, and each year hundreds of students from across Pennsylvania take advantage of these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to learn and grow as leaders and people. PASC is proud to offer these camps for the best student leaders in Pennsylvania, and they hope your students will join them this summer!

These camps are open to all students and are focused on personal growth and leadership development. Students do not need to be involved in Student Council to participate, and many participants come from community service, honor society, and other similar organizations from their schools. All students who are interested in an enriching experience are encouraged to attend camp to improve their skills, and we encourage you to encourage all student leaders at your school to attend our camp program.

Attending a PASC Summer Leadership Camp can help students learn skills that will help them run events like Mini-THON, as well as other programs at their school. Students will leave camp empowered to make positive change and impact their community. Our camps have strong themes of civic engagement and helping students channel student voice, skills that will help your council, school, and help students plan events throughout the year.

PASC is happy to offer the 2019 PASC Summer Leadership Camps now with online registration! Our curriculum is top notch, jam packed and full of innovative ideas to better your traditional events and throw some new ideas in the mix. The lessons, friends, self-confidence, and connections delegates make are invaluable.

To ensure that your students can register with our member rate, please ensure that your school is a current member of PASC. You or your student council or other activity advisor may contact Dr. Katie Mercadante, our PASC membership coordinator, at membership@pasc.net to ensure you are a member so your students can receive our member rate.

PASC Blue
For students entering grades 7, 8, or 9 – Blue is a five day leadership camp that focuses on team work, leadership, civic engagement, how to run an effective meeting and event, and teaches delegates how to take their meetings and events into their own hands while empowering other leaders in your school and council. Delegates will be ready to plan projects from a-z with ideas of events for every month of the year.

PASC Advanced Blue

For students entering grades 8 or 9 who have previously attended a Blue Camp – Advanced Blue is a five day camp that focuses on creating a workshop ready to present to peers at regional and state conferences, use proper and up to date technology to run meetings and get the word out on events, and the importance of mentorship.

May 19- June 8 – $420

PASC Gold
For students entering grades 9-12 – Gold is a six day camp that focuses on communication, leadership, team-building, and project planning. Delegates are challenged throughout the week to create, plan, and run events at the camp. They are given the opportunity to create a budget, run meetings, use technology, and give the confidence and skills to transform their student council and school. They will come back to school with new skills and ideas that will energize your council.

Grove City College: July 7-12

PASC Advanced Camp
For students who have previously attended a Gold Camp – Advanced Camp is a seven day camp that focuses more on the leader and their individual reflection and growth. Delegates will experience the ethics of leadership and councils, stress management, conflict resolution, and “finding their why.” With other sessions on innovative leadership, followership, technology, and diversity, these delegates will leave this camp ready to take on the school year and foster change. As always, this camp also includes a full day at a low and high ropes course.
