Three Takeaways from State House Hearing on Pension System Reforms

The Pennsylvania House’s State Government Committee held the first of two days of scheduled hearings on the Senate-authored public employee pension reform bill Tuesday. The sessions are significant mostly because there were no such hearings in the Senate, which fast-tracked the bill last month in an effort to get it passed before the primary election recess.
