Should PA students get mental health days?

When state Sen. Judy Schwank was in high school, her mother allowed her to take a day off from school when she was overwhelmed. Now, she wants to afford all Pennsylvania students the same opportunity. She introduced a bill that proposes offering K-12 students two “mental health days” per school year. In April, it was referred to the Senate Education Committee, where it awaits action.
