A Pennsylvania lawmaker is proposing legislation that would provide funding to a teacher recruitment initiative in Pennsylvania.

The legislation, proposed by State Sen. Vincent Hughes (D-7), aims to help diversify the state’s educator workforce and relieve school districts of teacher shortages.
