Pennsylvania Health Dept. echoes new CDC mask recommendations as delta variant spreads

State officials won’t be mandating masks across the commonwealth in response to new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), but the Pennsylvania Health Department endorsed the agency’s new guidance that calls for masks in areas with high virus transmission rates. Six Pennsylvania counties currently meet the CDC’s threshold for the new masking recommendation.
