PA lawmakers eye stronger guidelines as school districts enhance security measures

As schools enter their third year of the pandemic, they are still learning how to handle COVID — and updating their plans for the fall.  PA School Boards Association Chief Legal Officer Stuart Knade said there were no specific restrictions or parameters to the plans, other than those the Pennsylvania Department of Education made. The department’s website states that the plans need to maintain health and safety for staff and students during and after school.
