New CDC quarantine guidance concerns some school stakeholders

Federal health guidelines that were updated this week to reduce the recommended amount of time asymptomatic COVID-19 patients need to spend in quarantine could soon lead to schools changing their health and safety policies. The new recommendations, published Monday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), say those with asymptomatic coronavirus infections should isolate for five days instead of 10.
