Local educator receives prestigious Penn State award

(Harrisburg, PA)-Each year, The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) College of Education Alumni Society Board of Directors identifies a PSU alum who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and service during his/her career as an educational leader to receive the Leadership and Service Award. This year’s recipient is Paul M. Healey, Ph.D., executive director of the Pennsylvania Principals Association. Dr. Healey was honored with this prestigious award at a banquet ceremony at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College, Pa., on Oct. 9, 2020. Dr. Joseph H. Clapper, president of the PSU College of Education Alumni Society Board of Directors and former assistant executive director for the Pennsylvania Principals Association, presented him with the award.
