Kids should be screened for anxiety at early age, experts say. Here’s the new guidance

All children as young as 8 years old should be screened for anxiety, a government panel has recommended, saying that early screening is critical for connecting them to the resources that could help them. The announcement marks the first time that the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has issued a recommendation on screening children that young for anxiety disorders.
