Faced with delta spread, PA school districts change masking policies

A raging COVID-19 delta variant has raised concerns about the coming school year and sent school districts across Pennsylvania scrambling to alter their mask policies amid ongoing political debates over pandemic precautions. Districts that previously set policies ranging from giving parents the choice to only requiring unvaccinated students and teachers wear masks are now quickly implementing universal masking rules as vaccines still remain unavailable to children under 12.
