As COVID-19 cases rise, challenges with virtual learning remain

Parents struggle to both work and help their children with online learning. Teachers work until midnight or later, creating virtual lessons, reaching out to families and worrying about the students who never turn in any work. Students attempt to learn in a new way, sometimes while caring for siblings and sharing one computer. Districts must find innovative ways to meet the needs of special education students and English language learners.
