Pennsylvania Republicans pass own version of budget

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The Pennsylvania Senate passed its own version of the state budget as gridlock enters its seventh week.
Voting entirely along party lines, Republicans passed a $47.7 billion spending plan to cover expenses of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and public schools through June 30, 2026.
