Principal Induction Registration Information

Interest Form Now Live for the 2027-28 PDE Principal Induction Program

If you are a current Assistant/Vice Building or Building Principal who needs to complete principal induction to apply for your Administrative II certification, visit the SAS PD Center to complete the 2027-28 Principal Induction Interest form no later than September 30, 2026. The survey can be found in the Act 45 course catalog above the list of course offerings. 

Information from the interest form will be used to verify eligibility and select the locations for the in-person sessions that will be held in July and August of 2027. Verified administrators who complete the interest form will receive access to pre-enrollment for the 2027-28 program in early 2027.

The PIL Principal Induction Program is one year in length, and participants earn 80 Act 45 Continuing Education hours upon successful completion of the induction program.

Please note that completing this survey does not automatically enroll you in the program. You will still need to enroll in the Launching Leadership Induction program when it is open for registration in 2027.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REGISTER:

Register for Principal Induction 2026-2027

  1. Go to www.pdesas.org.
  2. Log in to your account or create one if you are new to the SAS portal.
  3. Click on the ‘Professional Learning’ tab and select ‘Courses.’
  4. Click the ‘Act 45’ tab.
  5. Find ‘Principal Induction Launching Leadership Foundations (July/August)’
  6. Choose the session location you hope to attend.
  7. Click ‘Register’ under ‘Options’ and add your name to the waitlist.
  8. Once your position status is verified, PDE will move you into the class if space is available.
