Waking up is hard to do — especially for school

A new Rand Corporation study says a nationwide move to 8:30 a.m. school start times could contribute $83 billion to the U.S. economy within a decade. It would lower dropout rates, improve college attendance, and lessen the risk of mood disorders, like depression.
