PA Principals Association Opposes Senate Bill 229 and Asks Members to Contact Their Legislators

PA Principals Executive Director, Dr. Paul M. Healey is calling on all members to contact their legislators now to encourage them to VOTE NO on Senate Bill 229. This bills aims to change the Public School Code by eliminating the minimum number of days for sick leave, bereavement and to alter sabbatical leaves. Instead, they want to make it a part of negotiations but we do not negotiate under Act 93 only the teachers have this right. Click here for the letter and talking points.
