Celebrate National Assistant Principals Week

NASSP and NAESP, in cooperation with the American Federation of School Administrators, are in high gear preparing for next week’s celebration of National Assistant Principals Week. Join them in celebrating the great work assistant principals do by participating in these activities:

Send Your AP an E-Card. Principals and other members of the education community can simply choose an e-card, add a message, and schedule the date and time for the card to be sent. APs will receive the e-card along with a special AP Week gift.

#APchat on Twitter. Join your colleagues for a Twitter chat about the AP’s leadership role on Sunday, April 12, at 8:00 p.m. (ET).

#APweek hashtag. Use #APweek on Twitter and Instagram to share your notes of appreciation, celebration images and other acknowledgments of the great work APs do year-round.

Additionally, NASSP will host a Google Hangout (similar to a webinar) in cooperation with the Wallace Foundation about developing APs; and conduct its annual Assistant Principal of the Year Forum, which gathers the state winners on Capitol Hill for meetings with their elected officials (#APOY15).

Visit www.nassp.org/apweek for additional details, a promotional video and ideas to celebrate.
