School Breakfast Grants – Deadline is April 6

A total of $900,000 in grants are available for schools to start or expand alternative breakfast programs, such as grab-and-go, breakfast in the classroom, etc. through the School Breakfast Initiative. The deadline for applying for these grants is fast approaching: April 6, 2016.

You will learn about alternative serving methods that can greatly increase participation in school breakfast. Gov. Wolf’s School Breakfast Initiative will also be discussed which includes the availability of mini-grants to schools to start or expand breakfast programs!
