Westinghouse Arts Academy, located in Wilmerding, PA, is seeking a talented Principal for the upcoming 20-21 school year. Westinghouse was founded in 2017 to provide students with superior academic and arts education in the following areas: Dance, Theatre, Music, Studios Arts, Digital Arts, and Literary Arts. Operating under a Charter School agreement with East Allegheny School District, Westinghouse provides services to approximately 300 students coming from nearly 40 home school districts. An ideal candidate will have a Pennsylvania Administrative/Principal certification and a PA Teaching certification in one of the above referenced arts fields. Other significant experience in the arts may be considered in addition to the Principal certification. The Principal is responsible for oversight of the educational program, including the motivation and supervision of instructional and certified staff, oversight of curriculum and instruction, and student conduct and attendance.
