The ideal candidate will possess instructional expertise and demonstrated excellence leading multiple curricular and extra-curricular areas. With central office support, this Principal will lead classroom staff dedicated to high achievement and continued success with academics, extracurricular, and athletic programs. Qualifications and Requirements: A valid PA Administrative Certificate, Master’s Degree and two (2) years of successful building level experience preferred; expertise in instructional leadership, educational technology, and school management; and be a contributing member of district wide leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To direct the supervision and evaluation of junior-senior high school staff, direct all instructional and co-curricular goals for the grades 7-12 building, administer and implement district policies at the secondary school level, direct a program designed to generate accurate, efficient, and timely communication with all constituents, and direct programs to ensure the safe and orderly delivery of the instructional program. Job Summary: Plan, direct, coordinate, assist and is the internal consultant to the superintendent, assistant superintendent, executive leadership team, and principals regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion matters concerning staff, students, and families. Assists schools in addressing the needs of students and families from historically marginalized backgrounds. Provides coordination, consultation, guidance, support, and assistance to schools in working and communicating with parents and families. Ensures equity in our policies, practices, and procedures. Serves as a liaison to outside agencies in the areas of equity, diversity and inclusion and best practices in the areas of culturally relevant pedagogy and practice. Assists in furthering the diversity goals of the district. Qualifications: Graduate degree in related fields required.
